A Tooth Replacement That’s Permanent

Long-Term Aesthetic and Functional Benefits

If you are about to lose one or more teeth, or you have already, you have many options today for replacing your teeth. In the past, you could only choose between temporary dental bridges and unreliable partial dentures. But today, there’s a solution that provides long-term health, aesthetic, and functional benefits! Dental implants are the permanent tooth replacement option that keeps your existing teeth healthy and whole, while providing a non-removable and functional new tooth or set of teeth permanently fixed in your natural jawbone. You can think of them as healthy, real teeth, even though structurally they’re made from biocompatible titanium and porcelain materials. That’s how closely dental implants match the look, function, and feel of natural teeth!

Dental implants require the skill and experience of a trained specialist to ensure they last long-term and look attractive next to your existing teeth. We partner with an experienced periodontist (a dental implant expert) to offer this high-end care and further ensure the success of your treatment. Our partnering periodontist will expertly place your dental implants in Scarsdale, NY, while our experienced cosmetic dentists, Drs. Atusa and Ahmad Sedehi, will custom design your new tooth or teeth. Taking such a collaborative approach allows us to provide comprehensive dental implant treatment all in one practice location. We invite you to learn more about the benefits of dental implants and what you can expect at our office.

Our Dental Implants Process

Phase 1: Consultation

Your treatment begins with a personalized consultation with our team. During this appointment, we’ll learn about your smile goals and show how dental implants can provide this for you. We’ll also complete an evaluation of your mouth and any diagnostics necessary for planning your surgery. Most of our patients are candidates for receiving a temporary crown or bridge the day their implants are placed. We’ll have everything ready for this appointment when you arrive.

Phase 2:
Surgery

Our partnering periodontist will travel to our office to place your dental implant(s). Because our periodontist has received extensive surgical training and experience, your dental implants will be placed in areas of your jaw that provide the greatest functional benefits. Your surgical appointment may also include tooth extractions and/or bone or soft tissue grafts. Our periodontist can skillfully complete these procedures, too.

Phase 3: Restoration

You’ll need a few months to fully heal after your placement surgery. During this time, the dental implant post will fuse to your natural bone and create a strong foundation for a dental crown or bridge. When this phase is complete, you’ll return to our office to have your custom-made final restoration attached. This restoration is fabricated from porcelain material, which we color to take on the natural shade and translucency of real teeth. This crown or bridge will be strong enough to withstand biting and chewing while being indistinguishable alongside your remaining teeth.

Afford the Permanent Solution

You won’t find dental implants that are cheaper than dental bridges or partial dentures. If you do see a “too good to be true” deal like this, know that is most likely due to the doctor’s inexperience or cheaply made materials. This dramatically increases the risk of implant failure and other problems. We encourage all our patients to research cost as it relates to the quality of the materials and the expertise of the implant dentist. At our office, we utilize the superior training and experience of a skilled periodontist to place your dental implants. And our cosmetic dentists have decades of combined experience in restorative treatments like crowns and bridges.

With this high-quality team of clinicians, you can rest assured that the price of your treatment is a reflection of the care, personalization, and skill of our team. To ensure you can afford our care, we offer flexible payment options and third-party financing with CareCredit® and LendingClub. With many options to choose from, customized monthly payment plans, and low-interest rates, most of our patients can easily afford treatment! Don’t let finances keep you from choosing the permanent tooth replacement solution. Schedule your consultation today to learn how dental implants can change your life.
